Crimson Keep

A dark action platformer where I worked on HUD, health/ammo systems, and core gameplay features.

Implemented HUD and connected it to player health and ammo.

Built the underlying logic for health and ammo and hooked it into gameplay and UI.

Added controller support and input handling for player movement.

Built systems for collectables and destructible tiles.

I also did some sound work, including arrow sound effects and a bit of voice acting.

Takeaway

This was my first time working in a custom C++ engine (TGE). It gave me a better understanding of how gameplay systems connect to rendering, UI, and the engine itself.
